The product is offered by New Ice Inc., a Colorado based company which invented, patented and is now manufacturing this competitively priced innovative alternative to traditional food packaging. Designed initially for use in cafeterias, Quick Service Restaurants (QSRs) and for picnic/outdoor events, Verdepack compostable plates/trays made from sustainable resources are alternatives to coated paper, plastic and Styrofoam products.
Manufactured here in the USA using domestic materials, Verdepack products are made from a blend of starches and cellulose which is then formed into shape using modified compression molding technology that produces no harmful by-products or emissions.
